With his 2½ sacks last Sunday combined with his 4 tackles, T.J Watt earned the AFC Defensive Player for Week 2 honour. This has set the scene for the rest of the season after his AFC Defensive Player of the Month for November last year and his two AFC Defensive Player of the Week in 2018.
Last season, T.J. Watt was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in just his third season in the NFL. He was the first defensive player to earn the Steelers’ MVP since Troy Polamalu in 2010.
