The Steelers defense has been going from strength to strength this season and it gained recognition with Bud Dupree being honoured as the AFC Defensive Player of Week 9.
Against the Colts, Dupree had three tackles, two sacks, three hits on the quarterback and a forced fumble that he recovered.
His statistics for the season are 25 solo tackles with 9 quarterback hits. He has been a solid part of the Steelers defense that has kept the team in close games and enable them to move to 4-4.
He is the second member of the Steelers defense to be honoured this season after Devin Bush earned the honour in week 6.
