Antonio Brown – 2017 SteelerNationUK MVP

As expected, Antonio Brown was overwhelming voted SteelerNationUK ‘s MVP for last season and his stats show the reason why.

Despite missing the final two games, he led the NFL with 1,533 receiving yards and became only the second player in NFL history to lead the league in receiving yards after missing two games of a season.

His 1,533 receiving yards were more than 12 other NFL team’s two top receiving yards leaders combined. He recorded eight games in 2017 with at least 100 receiving yards – the most in the league. Brown had six games with at least 10 receptions and 100 yards which tied for the second-most such games in a single season in NFL history.

Brown became just the second Steelers player to be named a First-Team Associated Press NFL All-Pro selection in four consecutive years, joining Alan Faneca (2004-07).

What SNUK members said about AB:

A human highlight reel and an absolute joy to watch, clutch when it mattered most and some of the most impossible catches ever seen, may just be the greatest season by.a WR in the history of the game.

There was talk of league MVP but definitely Steelers MVP. He has had an absolutely fantastic season and deserves the award. It will help him sleep better also knowing he’s won the SNUK MVP trophy.

My vote this year goes to Antonio Brown his production, spectacular contested catches and sideline toe touches mean Lauern can make his day!
When Lauren was at the South Side training complex to present Le’Veon Bell with his trophy for 2016, AB suggested to her that he would like the trophy again. Read her story here>>>

I don’t think any one other player was as consistently great this season.

In terms of the best player on the team it has to be AB – the man has a highlight reel THIS season that some HoF receivers have over a career.

He was the difference between winning and losing on more than one occasion. His insane numbers and the fact that he was the only unanimous all-pro selection speaks for itself. Despite standing at just 5ft 10″, no one really has an answer to him. He is the dictionary definition of clutch.
